[History of the World Wide Web]

1. "Where Do Web Sites Come From? Capturing and Interacting with Design History"
Resource: The Open Video Project
URL: http://www.open-video.org/details.php?videoid=4999

This is educational video from the 2002 CHI conference focuses on the history of web sites and information design. I chose this video because it provides helpful background information on how web sites came into being and their progression, which consequently contributes to the complex concept of the World Wide Web.

2. "Web Plug-Ins"
Resource: The Internet Archive, Computer Chronicles
URL: http://www.archive.org/movies/details-db.php?collection=computerchronicles&collectionid=1539

These are movie scenes that discuss the concept of the “Web Plug-In” which existed in the early days of the Web. According to the movie scenes, you needed a variety of applications called Web Plug-Ins to make your web browser fully functional. I chose these movie scenes because these Web Plug-Ins inevitably play an integral role in the history of the World Wide Web and provides pertinent information to someone researching the history of the Web.
